Economics & Ecology of Polypropylene (PP)
Economics:
Polypropylene enjoys significant economic advantages over competing materials. Its low specific weight, modern processing techniques and the use of cost effective raw materials make PP the best alternative.
More and more businesses have chosen to use PP in their converting operations.
Ecology:
Polypropylene is environmentally friendly. Unlike some other plastic films, PP contains no plasticizers, acids or heavy metal compounds. The material is physically harmless and non-irritating to the skin.
Profol’s polypropylene films have a neutral taste and no unpleasant odor. PP can be easily recycled through in-line recycling or thermal reprocessing.
