Metallocene catalysts

Are metal complexes from titanium to nickel. They are of growing importance in the manufacture of films. These foils are ethylene copolymers with α-olefins which are produced by using metallocene catalysts. Characteristics are: very high resistance to thermal shocks, very good optical properties, low welding and sealing temperatures.
