proUD is our unidirectional tape consisting of glass fibers in a polypropylene matrix – and your guarantee for maximum strength with low weight. The uniform orientation of the continuous glass fibers allows distrubiting forces in a targeted manner and offers maximum strength and rigidity, making it ideal for use in structural components, reinforcements and repairs.
By using proUD instead of other reinforcement materials, you can save weight, costs and resources – without any loss of performance. Because with a glass fiber content of 72%, even aluminum becomes heavy and weak.
Our polypropylene UD tape is resistant to moisture and chemicals and is fully recyclable.
proUD is available in three variants, which differ in the orientation of the fibres in the PP matrix. This enables high strength in different directions.

Due to its composition and structure, proUD is ideal for simple further processing using thermoplastic methods. proUD is available on rolls in 0°/90°/ X, which makes it easy to handle.

Thanks to its highly reproducible mechanical values, proUD is ideal for applications where constant performance parameters are required. The mechanical characteristic values are determined in accordance with automotive industry standards.
Sustainable & recyclable
Our UD tape made of glass fiber and polypropylene is more resource-efficient than other materials during production, and the reduced weight of components also helps to reduce energy consumption during transport and processing. proUD is fully recyclable and reduces the carbon footprint fourfold compared to aluminum.
