Environmental protection and the preservation of nature are a high priority for Profol. We regularly evaluate our energy use and consumption of raw materials throughout the production process and company. Since it is important to us to save resources and protect the environment, we use energy recycling and utilize recyclable materials in our manufacturing processes.
Economy
Polypropylene (PP) and other polyolefin polymers have a tangible economic advantage over other materials. Low specific gravity, modern processing methods and the use of inexpensive raw materials make polyolefin granules the best alternative. This is the reason why more and more companies decide to switch their production to polyolefin resines such as polypropylene.
Ecology
Polypropylene polymers are environmentally friendly. Unlike other plastic films, polymers such as polypropylene are free of plasticizers, acids and heavy metal compounds. These materials are physiologically safe and kind to the skin. Profol films are neutral in taste and odor, which makes them well suited for food packaging. Polypropylene films can be easily recycled by material recycling or by thermal recovery.
