Welcome Profol Ahrensburg GmbH
Kaschierbetrieb Lange KG (KBL) in Ahrensburg and Profol Group (Profol) are starting into a common future. From October 1, 2022, Profol Ahrensburg GmbH will become the seventh member of Profol.
KBL – owner-managed by Matthias Lange – is a specialist in printing and embossing of thermoplastic films. A wide variety of decorative prints in wood, stone or metal optics in combination with different surface structures are realized on several printing lines.
Profol has seven sites in Germany, the Czech Republic, North America and Asia with an annual capacity of 110,000 tons. With over 550 employees, we produce cast polypropylene film and glass fiber reinforced composites.
Profol has been growing for years in markets for decorative surfaces such as furniture and flooring. With this strategic orientation, the expansion by the expertise of KBL in printing decorative finishes on its own films is a logical step to complement its product range. However, Profol continues to build on the successful cooperation with its partners in the areas of decor printing and lamination, which has been going on for years, with the aim of further expanding this together.
For KBL and the Lange family it is very positive that – with Profol – a new owner was found who has been a reliable supplier and partner for more than 30 years and who will continue to develop the company at the Ahrensburg site in the sense of the former owners, employees and business partners. In addition to Dr. Schieferdecker as CEO of the Profol Group, Mr. Lange will act as Managing Director of Profol Ahrensburg GmbH.
